Christis Vassiliades (Director/CEO, CV Productions) Christi was born in Lemesos, Cyprus. He has studied Business Management and Public Relations. Christi has worked for the Vassiliades Group of Companies as the Personnel Manager of two hundred fifty employees for five years. He then continues with Chris Cash and Carry and Carrefour. For the last seven years he has been managing the Summer Dance Workshop “A Taste from New York” where Master Teachers and Choreographers from New York visit Cyprus to teach dance to young aspiring dancers. The workshops are funded by the Cultural Services of The Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus. He has managed the dance productions of Dance Anonymous in Cyprus and abroad including the presentations of “In the Boarders of Ignorance” on 42nd Srteet, NY. CV Productions was formed in 2001 by people joined by a common passion for the arts and seeking a new approach in artistic expression. The company invites artistic groups from all over the world to perform in Cyprus and also participate in national and international festivals. Also produces shows, movies, music videos and organizes workshops. Some of the recent projects include: “Twelfth Night” directed by Themis Moumoulides, “Die another day” written by Alexandros Rigas and Dimetris Apostolou, “Ashimopapo” This production landmarks the creation of the First Children's Theatre Festival in Cyprus and the show is narrated by Angeliki Daliani, “Petra: the awakening of Myth “A monumental dance production with 24 dancers and the Cyprus State Orchestra presented in the annual Cultural Festival “ΚΥΠΡΙΑ” in 2004, “Ifigenia at Aulis” The famous Greek tragedy produced in both English and Greek in 2005 at the Symphony Space theatre in New York, “Johnnie Walker” (U.S commercial), “American Apparel” (U.S commercial).
